The State of Indiana has passed its own intrastate equity crowdfunding law, as of July 1, 2014!
Ever since the crowdfunding rule of the JOBS Act was passed, we have been waiting for the SEC to implement equity-based crowdfunding, and to date, the law mandated by Congress has not been put in place. In response, several states - including Indiana - have implemented their own equity crowdfunding laws.
Small businesses throughout the state of Indiana can now offer shares in their companies through crowdfunding portals.
